Question: WHEN YOU PUT TRUCK IN REVERSE IT IMMEDIATLY BLOWS THE FUSE.THE BACK UP LIGHTS AND BLINKERS ARE ON THE FUSE I CANNOT FIND A SHORT WHEN I UNPLUG THE TOP WIRING FROM THE BACK UP SWICH THE TRUCK WILL NOT CRANK BUT DOES NOT BLOW THE FUSE FIGURED IT WOULD BE IN THE SWITCH PUT A NEW ONE ON IT DOES THE SAME THING

Technican: Hello, The truck should start with the turn signal switch at the base of the steering column disconnected. I believe you have a problem in this harness caused by tilting the column over time. Can you disconnect the turn signal switch, start the truck, select reverse gear ( with a good fuse in place ) and the fuse remains good? If so, you'll need a turn signal switch, if not, please advise...
