1985 Chev Celebrity Won't Start - Ignition SystemQuestion: my engine will crank and crank and crank, but it just will not fire. yes my starter is good. the battery doesn't keep a charge but i believe this is from just trying to start it.all my plugs and wires are good. atleast i think. i have cleaned them just in case they had moisture in them. it just seems like someting is preventing it from firing. all it does is crank, crank, crankand crank.Could it be the module(don't know where that is on a 85 chevy celebrity)or the distributor and rotor?
