Technican: The main thing here is to get the special tool to release the belt during removal and installation. Autozone (and probably others) loans the tool (you pay for the tool and are reimbursed all of your money when you return the tool).
The other important step is to verify the belt routing diagram is on the car (somewhere underhood). If it's not make certain to draw a diagram detailing how the belt is routed around the pulleys.
Insert the belt removal tool into the tensioner and turn it to release tension and slide the belt off.
Now simply remove the bolt that fastens the tensioner to the engine.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
