1997 Chev Cavalier Won't Start - Ignition System
Question: The engine will not turn over, there is gas, the battery seems to be strong. The engine is not hot or cold.

Technican: first thing to check is your starter. Are you hearing a clicking noise when you turn the key to start? If yes chances are your starter is bad. ASE Master Tech Owner: There is no clicking sound. Do you think it is the spark plugs or probably a fuse? Technican: It wont be the spark plugs... but it very well could be a fuse or simply a bad starter. Fuses are easy to check and replace.
