Technican: It should be mounted above the brake pedal. Never overlook fuses when you have electrical trouble. Wiggle the turn signal switch and see if this makes a difference- If it does the turn signal (or multi-function as it's often called) will need replacing.

I replaced the flasher relay with a EP27 from autozone and the car wouldn't start replaced with the original and the car starts fine again. Any other ideas for me to try? Technican: I have never seen a flasher cause a no start condition- just the same never put that flasher back in. Take the relay back to autozone and get a refund.
I think your car only has one flasher. To confirm listen or feel the flasher with the four way flashers on and the turn signals. Check the bulb with the four ways on, see if they all work okay. If they do it usually ends up being the turn signal switch. The following link contains a wiring diagram for the circuit-

Has any work been done recently involving the turn signal bulbs, a bad bulb can cause strange problems. Does this happen in the left and right positions? Owner: This happens in both the right and left position. No work has been done to the system just stopped working one day. Think I should try another flasher or bulbs. Technican: Check the bulbs with the four ways on. Unlikely a bulb if it happens in both directions. The flasher is still possible along with the turn signal switch.
