Technican: Hello, When you replaced the in-tank fuel pump did you also replace the nylon pick-up screen filter? A dirty one will be sucked flat by the pump. When the engine stalls the filter will expand and allow the pump to draw fuel until the cycle repeats itself.
If you did replace the filter in the tank did you also replace the in-line fuel filter?
Have you tested the fuel pressure?
All that being said; a crankshaft position sensor could be at fault. They are affected by heat. When they cool down they work again until the heat fails them again.
