Technican: Hello, I think that is a voltage problem and I would want to clean the battery cable connections. How do they look? Corroded connections raise resistance to the point only a limited amount of amps can get through the car's wiring.
How strong are your battery and alternator?
If you look under the dash at the steering column wiring coming down the column, you'll find it goes to a large multi-part connector. Unscrew the socket size 7mm bolt in the center of the connector and pull the connector apart. Use a small flat screwdriver to gently lift the turn signal switch wiring portion of the column's wiring so it will slide past a retainer located half way across the connector body.
With the turn signal switch isolated in this manner you can reconnect the remaining wiring and tighten the bolt.
Start your car, tell me what effect this has. Your turn signals and four way flashers along with the horn and the brake lights should be dead. But, does run without dying?
I'm confident you'll get the idea as to how to isolate column wiring groups using this method.
What engine do you have?
