1986 Chev Cavalier Malfunction - Electrical & Lighting Systems
Question: looking to find the map sensor on a 86 cavalier Z24 2.8L multi port, the book shows it on firewall next to heater box, its not, a mechanic friend of a friend said it was mounted on a bracket under the throttle cable mount, its not, please help me

Technican: Well since it is not where it does belong and you must be concerned about this component I recommend going to the parts house and either buying the new Map sensor and looking for the same looking item or just remember what the item looked like. It is about 1.25 inches wide and 2.5 inches long with a vacuum line connection. and feel free to ask for further info. Al
