| make | Engine Toyota | | model | 4 cyl 2.0 Fl | | year | 1989 | | what | i have a 1989 toyota celica st 2.0 4 cyl engine. the car will idle fine however when i exelerate the car will misfire. no fumes other than a strong smell of gas r exiting my tailpipe and it misfires the most in the morning when the car is a little cold(70 deg. f)once i reach a crusing speed the car will for the most part not misfire. it has a new fuel filter and as far as we can tell gets plenty of gas. what could cause this? |
