| make | Mitsubishi | | model | montero | | year | 1992 | | what | I have a 1992 Montero 4x4. It does not start when engine has warmed up. After an hour or so, it will start. WHen it does start, it will die once it is put into gear UNLESS I increase the RPMs by holding down the gass peddle. It idles good. When I do drive it, it goes only 40mps and it has little power to go up hills.
1) No codes shown. 2)I tested IAC its good. 3) I tested Fuel pump, its good. 4) the coil Primary coil read .9ohms. The norm is.72 to .88ohms 5) The secondary read 9.99kohms when cold and 10.66 kohms when hot. The normal range is 14.5k to 19.5k
About 6 months ago it started to stall at stops. But would restart easily. Now it wont restart unless it sits for an hour or so. |
